Ruby Begley celebrated her 105th birthday earlier this month at Givens Highland Farms, surrounded by family and friends. Local ABC news affiliate WLOS-TV was also there to capture the moment. See the WLOS segment here.
“I just think that I have tried to live a good life and be kind to everybody. And I think I’ve done that. I have had a good life and I’m thankful for it,” she said.
Begley said her approach to life has helped carry her through more than a century. She has four children, nine grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
