At Givens Highland Farms, the next stage of growth includes Meadowmont Phase 4, an expansion that will add 30 residences to one of the best continuing care retirement communities in North Carolina. These residences allow new seniors to join the vibrant, connected community of Givens Highland Farms that current residents call a community “in the truest sense.”

Each home is designed for independent living in a comfortable 1,400-square-foot layout, that offers the convenience of an attached garage and private residential design. The garage spaces separate the living areas, providing greater privacy by eliminating shared residential walls.

Nestled in a natural setting on our Black Mountain campus, these thoughtfully designed independent senior living residences offer stunning Blue Ridge Mountains views and open floor plans with all the benefits of retirement living. Residents enjoy dining together, volunteering, joining our many interest groups, cultivating our community garden, walking with their dogs and neighbors on our beautiful trails in a maintenance-free life.

The first homes in Meadowmont were built between 2015 and 2018, and immediately proved a popular senior living neighborhood. Phase 4 construction is expected to be completed in 2027.
