A Givens Aldersgate tradition, residents and team members once again will walk in the Charlotte Pride Parade on Sunday, August 16, from 1-4 p.m.
The parade and ride in a Pride-decorated bus celebrates love, care and belonging. We stand alongside our residents, team members, families, and neighbors in support of the LGBTQ+ community. Charlotte Pride’s two-day festival includes a variety of national, regional and local entertainers, musicians, bands, and hundreds of participating vendor booths, including art exhibits, local nonprofits, retailers, and food court.
At Givens Communities, such events and activities mean creating a welcoming environment where every person is valued, respected, and empowered to be their authentic self. The Charlotte Pride Festival will be in and around First Ward Park. The Parade occurs in Uptown Charlotte, along Tryon Street.
