Givens Aldersgate residents, team members, family and friends will be taking part in Saturday’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s in Charlotte in an effort to raise awareness and show support for those affected by Alzheimer’s and dementia.

The annual walk, hosted by the Alzheimer’s Association, begins with an opening ceremony at 9:45 a.m. at Romare Bearden Park. Support for the Givens Aldersgate Team can be made HERE.
The Alzheimer’s Association works to support people affected by dementia through education, local resources, caregiver assistance, advocacy, and funding for research. In the Charlotte area, the organization helps connect families with information and services that can make it easier to navigate the challenges associated with memory loss and caregiving.
Through sponsorship of the Alzheimer’s Association, Givens Communities helps support vital research, education, resources, and programs, along with opportunities to connect with education, resources, and engagement.
The walk unites individuals, families, caregivers, health care professionals, volunteers, and community supporters who share a commitment to raising awareness and advancing the fight against Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia.
