Ralph and Doris Loomis created the Doris Edwards Autrey Divelbiss Fund in 1996, inspired by the kindness and compassion Doris’ grandmother received during her stay in the Givens Estates Health Center.  

Following in the footsteps of her grandmother’s civic leadership, Doris Loomis has been an active member of Givens since 1981 and gracefully and diligently led the Board of Directors from 2016 through 2019. That role allowed her keen insight into community operations. 

Mrs. Loomis reflects, “Our support of the assistance ministry was because I observed residents who savored their lives at Givens and who exhausted their resources as they enjoyed long lives.” Because of the generosity of Ralph and Doris Loomis, others with limited resources will receive assistance and remain at Givens Estates.
