June is Pride Month and Givens Communities stands with those who strive for civil rights, equitable treatment and inclusion.

Givens mission is “Creating Community, Empowering Lives” and accomplished through the collective strength of Givens Estates in Asheville, Givens Highland Farms in Black Mountain,  Givens Gerber Park in south Asheville, Givens Great Laurels in Waynesville, and aging in place programs of Givens Choice and Givens Home First.

Working with valued partners at SAGE Care, a national advocacy group for LGBTQ seniors, and Blue Ridge Pride, a nonprofit organization empowering Western North Carolina’s gay and allied communities, Givens Communities creates a welcoming, accepting places for everyone to call home.

Givens Communities is accredited by SAGE for policies and practices related to gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered residents, visitors and employees.

Givens Communities is a supporter of Blue Ridge Pride’s GenPlus program and affinity groups, and together offers diversity, equity and inclusion education to residents and staff.
