U.S. President Joe Biden recently spoke by phone with Highland Brewing President Leah Ashburn, along with her husband Brock and her father, Givens Estates resident and Highland Brewing founder Oscar Wong. He thanked them for contributions to the community in the aftermath of devastation by Hurricane Helene and sharing assets with struggling local businesses and organizations.
