Givens Gerber Park Celebrates 250 Years of American Independence
Residents, team members, and leaders gathered at Givens Gerber Park to commemorate the 250th anniversary of American independence with a patriotic celebration honoring the nation’s history, freedoms, and veterans.
Hosted at the community’s courtyard flagpole, the event featured a flag ceremony, patriotic parade, and musical tributes that brought residents together in a spirit of pride and reflection. Attendees joined in singing patriotic songs and celebrating the values that have united Americans for generations.
Givens Communities CEO Kevin Schwab and COO Scott Farkas delivered remarks during the ceremony, recognizing the importance of community, service, and honoring those who have helped shape the nation’s history.
A special highlight of the event was a commemorative walk around the courtyard in honor of veterans, offering residents and guests an opportunity to express gratitude for their service and sacrifice. The celebration concluded with an outdoor reception, where attendees continued to enjoy fellowship and conversation.
The Givens Foundation extends its appreciation to the Givens Gerber Park team members whose dedication and hard work made the event possible. Their efforts created a meaningful celebration that reflected the strong community spirit of Givens and the significance of this historic milestone.
