
Renigar Named as Director of Philanthropy for Givens Communities
In an announcement made this week, Amy Renigar has joined Givens Communities as the new Director of Philanthropy, bringing more than 17 years of experience in nonprofit leadership and fund development.
For more than a decade, she has worked to build engagement and improve lives across Western North Carolina, through roles with the American Cancer Society and as Executive Director of Girls on the Run of WNC.
Originally from southeastern Kentucky, Amy is a proud Appalachian who loves mountain living and culture. She is a graduate of Western Kentucky University and earned a master’s degree in Women’s Studies from Georgia State University. She is passionate about community, connection and helping others thrive. Outside of work, you’ll find her exploring hiking trails, enjoying live music, playing board games with friends, or curled up with a good book and her cat, Henry.
Amy brings a wealth of experience in relationship-building and is passionate about advancing the Givens mission and expanding a lasting legacy for quality senior living. Her proven track record in strategic fundraising and community engagement makes her a tremendous addition. Under Amy’s guidance, philanthropic efforts will continue to grow and flourish.
